Calvary Baptist Church Welcomes Senior Pastor Rick Bloom

Calvary Baptist Church recently received our new senior pastor, Rev. Rick Bloom, on Sunday August 8, 2010.

Pastor Bloom says his goal is to build upon the congregation's existing strengths in reaching out to the community and providing spiritual support and leadership for the church at large.

"My primary task at Calvary will be to give myself to the ministry of the Word and to prayer, to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, and to impact the community for the cause of Christ," says Bloom. "Church growth will be the result of ministering outside the walls of our church building, and spiritual growth will be the result of sound practical Bible teaching, spirited worship and honest fellowship."
